A Few Words On The Art...
The Art
First, I'd like to tell you about the art that we’ve chosen for the project. Debycloud and I began collaborating in March, and we've decided to move to the next step now as the artwork is nearly complete.
From the start the theme was about rebels, but originally the concept had a focus on the inner feeling of rebellion that we all feel, the “rebellious soul” that is part of human nature, an experience we all share..
"We are everyone, we are no one.."
This aspect remains a part of the collection. but has not yet been revealed. There was a change that occurred, however.
It was realized that the project, to accomplish its goals, would have to incorporate that mission symbolically in the art.
Enter Zero.
Zero is both the leader of the rebels, and the path.
That is, "We are going to Zero." "Zero rules."
“We are going to Zero” is a joke about rug pulls, and if we are being honest about the NFT space, there is a lot of chaff compared to the quality wheat. Blue chips are few and far between, and hyped garbage cash grabs are plentiful. They mint, they go up, they go down.
We are, actually, “going to Zero” in the sense that Zero is our guiding principle, a disruption of the old ways, and a true “reset” as crypto and NFT world radically change how we exchange value and how we organize ourselves in communities.
We are also “going to Zero” because symbolically, all the rebels are aligning with this entity to work together toward this change.
“Zero rules.” In what sense? Zero is the leader, and he “rules” the rebels, both that group of infamous rebellious souls, and the flame that burns to a lesser or greater degree in all of us. By rule, we mean to give it purpose and direction.
Zero rules is also the path. No rules. “It’s only when we have lost everything that we are free to do anything.” No formulated ways of being, speaking and behaving. Once we’ve let it all go, then we can react truly from our inner self, from the heart.
Who is Zero? What is Zero?
“All the ways that you wanted to be, that’s Zero.” Zero is your best self, realized and fully free.
Our collection of rebels is from the past, present and future.
There are: The Rebellious Ten, The Ten Everymen, and the Ghosted. And all combinations thereof. They will be revealed at an accelerated pace in our sneak peeks channel on Discord, as well as on Twitter.
The Rebellious Ten include: Spartacus, William Wallace, Zhu Yang Zhang a Chinese rebel, Blackbeard the pirate, the outlaw Billy the Kid, Gandhi, Pancho Villa, Che Guevara, Julian Assange and the fictional Neo from The Matrix.
All historical rebels, regardless of politics, aligned toward the same goal.
The Ten Everymen are us. “We are everyone, we are no one.” We come from all walks of life: farmers, truckers, fishermen, cooks, office and IT workers, hackers and gamers. Inside of us, no matter how normal we appear, resides that “rebellious soul” we spoke of earlier.
And sometimes it manifests outwardly in our aura, and so we have The Ghosted. Within and among them dwell these old rebellious spirits, which have latched onto them through their emotional bodies and ideologies.
The art is clean, tasteful, and approachable to a wide audience and something most wouldn't think twice about using as their main avatar.
And we believe will hold exceptional value. You'll see why as the layers of our plan are revealed.
